Cold Weather Chime To all new owners; that chime when you turn on the ignition when its really chilly outside is an ice warning. its chimes when the outside temperature is 3 degrees celcius or lower. This is in your owners manual.
Now can we please have a winter free of threads asking what that ding noise was.

my GP makes a ding ding noise when i turn the ignition on
its not the cold weather warning as its not cold enough
. i asked the salesman who sold me the car,as this didnt happen on my other 4 mini's. he didnt know what it was
