Didn't last long

well it's been interesting but it's now going

i bought the car 10 weeks ago, after 5 days it was hit head on so went to the bodyshop for 3 weeks to be sorted, got it back and the next day i had a unrepairable puncture (split sidewall) so ended up buying a pair of front tyres
a couple of weeks later another puncture

replace pollen vents due to foam problem

replaced windscreen pillar trims due to cracks

replaced some plastic trims on interior due to scratches

replaced the full red interior with a black (all panels/ seats/ etc), replaced bumpers, exhaust, side vents, fuel cap with S ones - looks better

clear brake light fitted

traced water leak in boot to rear lights - silicon sealed them - sorted

New Alpine stereo + boot changer fitted

bought a set of silver s spokes, had 2 refurbed so all are as new - swapped them over for my old white ones

this saturday fitted K+N element + new tailored mats

and next saturday it's being traded in for a S40 Turbo Sport Lux - this should cure the rattles and creaks

the only good thing i enjoyed was it taking just £35 to fill the tank up - guess i'll miss that again
not a bad car tbh but there seems to be a lot of problems associated with this model, some of which i've experienced (pulling to left, airbag light, etc) and i don't want to have the gearbox, power steering problems, etc
probably miss the little thing for some reasons (fuel, easy parking) but i guess it wasn't for me - roll on car number 38

yep - lucky with UN before it

i've traded in so many cars in the past due to niggly things (rattles/ creaks/ etc) as i guess i'm a bit of a perfectionist (suppose i expect too much of a car)
38 cars in 18 years , i average a change every 3 months or so now as i get bored or cheesed off within 2 months then spend a couple of weeks looking for another

Come to think of it, have you seen him recently?

Last I heard he was looking at property in Spain - wonder how he's paying for that??

Still? That was weeks ago!

I suppose if he has been sleeping in the car for this long, though, he'll have plenty of room with no back seats!

picked up my Mini Cooper 06 end of July.
So far.........
Knocking sound from rear. Mini been in to garage 4 times over this. Still an ongoing issue.
Petrol lock knackered - been replaced.
Spotlamps - bad condensation - been replaced.
Leather seat (passenger) - cuts and scuffs really easily.
HK Left rear speaker rattles.
Last time the Mini went in, they cleaned it but left large patches uncleaned. Now the bodywork is finely scratched.
I sent an email to Lind of Colchester 2 days ago. They said in a reply email they would phone within 24hrs. Have they? NO!!!!!!

I've never known a car to have so many problems. Its only got 3K on the clock, think I might trade it in and get a golf.

Think i have seen your car on Bradley road in the past few weeks? also seen a white school car with black stripes as well?
I find Almondbury ok tbh - had a key programmed there last week and they didn't charge me (even though i bought it elsewhere) - might be because i booked the car in for a saturday morning and when i turned up it wasn't booked in?

If you deal with the parts dept see Andre - great lad - worked with him years ago - knows his stuff
