hi there,

I am new here and I am totally not figuring out how to post a message. Would any of you please help me?! One of my questions is if you know if golf clubs can fit in the trunk or if you have to lay down a seat to fit them?

Thanks,
Cherise

Golf clubs dont fit and its a struggle even with one seat down, best to lay them on the back bench.

Welcome.

U'll have to drop boths seats as mentioned before. I've had two sets clubs, power trolley and hand pulled trolley in the back of mine.

Welcome to MINI2

To fit my bag and trolley in I have to put both back seats down, getting two sets in is difficult but not impossible

Haha, that's quite amusing to know. I've bought a car partly to be able to carry my golf clubs around (it doesn't really work on a bike!), and I go and pick one where they don't really fit very well!

For full sized clubs you have to lay a seat down. Welcome.

You have to lay the seat down. Then the club teeter totter on top of the back of the seat. So I would recommend getting something to cover the trunk and raises the floor to the seatback height.

One seat down for me. And I either walk or rent a buggy.

Are you under 60 years old? If so, you won't be using a trolley anyway so all you need to do is fold one seat down and your bag will fit perfectly.

I recently made a trip to Scotland with two full golf bags (Callaway StandLites), two Callaway shoe bags, a big bag of practice balls (ooh er), our dog in a pet crate (sits ontop of one folded rear seat), three Samsonite Mini luggage cases and the wife (sits ontop of the passenger seat )
