Seen him a few times now, including at New MINI Meet 01 (www.mini2.com/minimeet).

Excellent stuff.

Nice to know Russ is a member of the MINI2 forums too.

I've seen him many times doing Classic Mini displays in the past - and I have to say that I found them more impressive, more fluid, more natural and looking as if it was just easier than when I saw his new MINI display.

Is it because the car is less suitable, because BMW doesn't let him do certain things... or does it just look less amazing because of the shape/size of the car?

Interested to hear from Russ if he's reading this!!

It could be because the mini is small and light and perhaps more manouverable than our cumbersome (yet infinitely better ) beasts...

Russ actually said that the classic mini's were very difficuilt to use, but they new MINI is much easier.

Maybe why it seems less impressive?

I was lucky to ride in the car on two wheels, sat in the back on the low side... different.
