i apologize in advance..i tried searching on the topic beforehand...

In the review order options in the owners lounge... theres a window that says "Factory Ordered Options:" . Should my package info be in there? or is that only for individual options? its blank, but i ordered the sport and premium packages.

Yes, the specs for our Mini should be in that box, at least mostly. The color is not in the box,nor do I recall is the seat material. Finally, the alarm system, if you ordered a factory-installed version will not appear either.

It does take a few days, once you get a production number, for the correct details to appear. In the mean time, it may show something completely unrelated to your order -- something like a placeholder for your dealer.

thanks guys...it actually showed the wrong color (black) initially but then a few days later it showed the right color (BRG which is *the* right color )...however it still doesnt show the premium package or the sport package that i ordered. i placed the order about 5 days ago so maybe i should just wait...odd that the color changed but not the options. thanks again

It's probably not critical that you check with your dealer now, but I would if I were in your shoes. When my order changed to the right color, everything else changed as well, and with what seems like faster build times, it may be important. I'm sure the dealer can give you the best information, and they shouldn't be bothered by your call.

Do you, by chance, have a September (or later) build date? I originally had an August build and the options were all listed in the box. I wanted a 2003, however, so I got a later production # and September build. Lo and behold, no options are listed in the OL for my September build, either.

I emailed MINIUSA, and they mentioned that since they haven't "officially" released options and package information for 2003s, options aren't showing up in the Lounge yet. They say this will be corrected "in the coming weeks," which could be pretty much anytime, as 2003s start rolling off the line pretty soon.

ahhh well then that explains it...mine is a september build 2003 model. i soooo didnt want to be one of the people who hover about the owners lounge and get antsy about everything but all that went out the window when i got my production number. funny how that works. thanks again guys!

Mine doesn't show any of the factory installed options either. I've changed the color 4 times and that has always been reflected w/in 48hrs. on the owner's lounge. My dealer has confimed my order w/ me five times, the last time I asked her about the owner's lounge not reflecting the options I chose and she told me that it should come up when my car is moved from "on order" to "scheduled for production". I'm trying to not get freaked out and drive my dealer crazy about it. But I am keeping a close eye on the owner's lounge.

You guys/gals, just call MINIUSA ( 866-275-6464/866-ask MINI) they have all the option info and status w/o "bothering" the dealer constantly. A different person answers the phone when I call. Just ask about your specific ones otherwise they will tell you everything, like that it has airbags etc.

My build date shows as 9/20 for my S and the option box is still blank after nearly 3 weeks. My dealer assures me my options are in. Premium, Sport, Cold weather. Indi blue has been correct from the start.

Again, easiest to call 866 ask MINI to be sure! (9am-9pm EST)

The options stay blank but calls to both the dealer and ASK MINI yield the correct configuration. I figure, if MINIUSA can tell me the right answers, the OL options field doesn't matter. They even confirmed white wheels. That's a relief giveen the number of people who went home with silver instead of the white they ordered.
