I am hopefully booking some flights over to the USA this week. I will be travelling to New York for a few days then to Alabama to visit family for the rest of the 14 day break.

While in alabama I want to rent a car and would love it if i could rent a MINI

I am travelling from New York to Atlanta airport and it would be great if there was somewhere in that area I could pick up a MINI for rental.

Last time i went we used E-Z-car which was right near the airport, but looking on their site I see no MINI's.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

There isn't even a MINI dealer located in Alabama! I don't think you're going to find a MINI to rent there, only ones I know are in the larger cities at specialty rental places.

The closest I found was in New York or Florida.
It's a car that would only be at specialty car rental companies in cities where lots of tourists want something unique to drive.

I am familiar with Zipcar, which rents Cooper CVT hardtops and cabrios in a number of cities around the country, but they are not in Atlanta. It looks like there is a similar concept called Flexcar in Atlanta, and their website does list MINI under the sports car category. I know it's possible to register with Zipcar with a foreign drivers license; you'll have to check if Flexcar allows the same.
