Offline | 48 hours to go and collection of Mellow Yellow Cooper has been agreed at 08.30 wife can't wait .Then the phone call ,Hi Ian there is a problem with you picking up your car on Saturday It is still in Oxford and will not be here until SOMETIME next week ![]() Not to disapointed then seeing as i had put the deposit down in July to secure collection on Saturday's launch day. Not only that ,i sold the wifes 52 plate cooper three weeks ago IN THE DOG HOUSE COMES TO MIND That said a thank you to Max and Simon who imediately aranged a service loan car until the other one arrives So to all of you who will get theirs on Saturday Have a good day . |

Offline | And it took them four days to realise it's not arrived on time? Seems like poor communication, they probably had fingers crossed it would arrive by today as the "latest possible" to prep it in time, but very good of them to give you a car to see you over until it arrives. ![]() |

Offline | It appears that i should have been informed a bit earlier but the sales guy is off for two days !which at the busiest sales week since the launch of the convertible is a bit of a supprise, but i think your comment about them having their fingers crossed is more to the point . I can't fault the dealer as it is out of their hands and they dont have an obligation to supply a loan vehicle. I would still recommend them. |

Offline | Recently I've heard that several hundred cars are delayed, mostly due to this: http://www.mini2.com/forum/2nd-gen-f...ml#post2759727 But I agree with what others have said, I'd rather have my car right and a bit later, than on time with a potential problem in wait. You'll always run the risk of delays and running fixes with a first of the run car. |
