I'm probably going to splash out on an R56 in the near future but i'm just holding fire to see if any problems/niggles appear on the new models.

If there are problems (and i've no doubt there will be some, no matter how minor) how long do people feel it is reasonable to wait before BMW will sort out these faults? 3 months? 6 months? 12 months?

I'm sure there are many people who feel the same as me so it would be interesting to get any feedback.

me i would go for 6 months.

just to let them iron the niggels out

yep, 6 months sounds reasonable for launch or near launch cars
