Very shocked and saddened to read of this.
Whilst I never met your mum I enjoyed reading her many posts on here and just seeing her avatar always brought a smile to my face.

I have to be honest, as I write this I am shedding a few tears.

I met Ruthie on two short occasions when she visited us in the UK.

Each time was a delight.

My thoughts go out to you and your family in these difficult days.

I had to go looking for this thread- 'Adventures With Duckie' that Ruthie started in 2004. Not all the pictures remain, but the posts from Ruthie & Maxamini will stay in our hearts for a long time.

I'm really shocked to read this very sad news. I was fortunate enough to have met Ruth last year on a run in London, she was a lovely lady. Ruthie will be very sadly missed here on mini2.
