A sad day for the mini!

Today was the day ive been regretting for the last few months! I had to declare my mini off the road and cancel my insurance because im off to oz for 6 months. I dont want to leave it behind!
I was just wondering whether anyone else had left their mini for a long time and how the car had held up?

Oh dear, poor MINI neglected for 6 months!
Car should hold up ok, will it be garaged?
You will probably come back to a flat battery though.

Enjoy your time over here

I left my MINI in the garage when we went to England for 6 months, only thing was it needed a new battery when we got home.We just locked the car and forgot it, were going to get a charger but didn't bother

I left my MINI for nearly 3months during the summer while i went to work in germany and it was absolutley fine when I got back. Though i did get my mum to start it every fortnight or so and just leave it running for a few minutes, not sure whether it made a difference or not but it didnt do any harm. Have a good time in oz!
