Donations for Ruthie

Hi everyone - we have tried to come up with the simplest way possible to mark our respect for Ruthie. Those wishing to send donations can donate via: see below please Please make clear that your donation is for Ruthie when you do this - there is a field for you to make comments.

We are currently in the process of sorting out a wreath from all at MINI2. The cost of the wreath will be debited from the MINI2 Charity Fund Account with any surplus going to the nominated Cancer Charity for Ruthie.

Update

The donations received so far already cover the cost of the wreath we will be sending, cash remaining afterwards will be donated directly to the American Cancer Society with a transfer from the MINI2 Charity Fund Account as indicated by Sham in his earlier post.

We now have a Firstgiving link in the US that will go directly to the American Cancer Society so please use that for all future donations. This link is specially dedicated to Ruthie and avoids the needs to transfer funds from the MINI2 Charity fund account.

Some UK members may be struggling to use a debit card on the link above. You may donate to Marie Curie, another cacner charity, if you wish instead via the Charity Ball donation site that was set up previously. Ruthie was a great supporter of the Ball and would be proud to be hleping raise further funds for it I'm sure

Ruth's funeral takes place today at 2.00pm local time, 7.00pm UK time. Please spare a moment to stop and reflect on a wonderful person and the wonderful life she led at that moment.

We have arranged for a floral Red MINI to be delivered on behalf of MINI2 , the message with it reads :

"In loving memory of our Ruthie, a ray of sunshine throughout our MINI Adventures, you'll always be missed and always be loved but never forgotten. We miss you so much already , from all your friends across the World on MINI2.com. Paix & Soliel Ruthie"
