End of the line for the first generation MINI

Think it's a shame the last one has been sold.

What Jaguar used to do (not sure if they still do) is keep the first and last off the line of every model they made.
They would be kept until they became museum peices.

Is there any information as to what kind of "old" MINI that last one produced was? A Cooper or a Cooper S?

Quick answer - you cant! I asked a mini dealer in US and they declined to send it to UK!

However bought mine off a member here and have 8 badges too!

And it will be up for sale soon (as no longer used) - keep an eye on classified

Obviously no details on where or who it's going to, but it was a Red/White Cooper.

I did a quick check before leaving work, and there are 4 One, 36 Cooper and 40 Cooper S unsold in the UK dealer network, as of 6pm today.

So if anyone is feeling nostalgic, get down to your dealer and grab one of the last ones left!
