With the "heritage" colors (BRG/PW/CR) continuing to sell strong, why was there no move to introduce a true British Racing Green? The current dark, metallic iteration just doesn't capture the feel and history of the original. Thanks.

Will the new design help eliminate the problem of stress cracks in the windshield(screen)?
When can we expect to see the answers to all these questions? Not complaining. Just looking forward to their thinking.

does the R56 MCS/MC still suffer from the front strut towers mushrooming or deforming?

on the r53 it was a pretty serious problem; were steps taken to prevent this from happening on the new R56?

and if so, can you tell me what steps were taken?

e.g. thicker metal, different design, etc

and also if it will be more effective?

thanks for the time

How has the issue of water collecting underneath the door sill weatherstripping been addressed to prevent rust from occurring? This has been a 'silent recall' issue MINI really hasn't said anything about in public, and this very poor design was carried over from the 02 to the 06 models.

Question on Center Console

Was Silver considered for the background on the center console. See attached
There seems to have been an effort to have the components "POP" out from the background. Is that the reason?

idle engine noise

Why make the driving position higher and the seat base flat instead of angled back?

How come the plastic for the air con switches/radio etc have gone from being a quite nice matt black to a rather cheap looking matt silver?

Why haven't BMW released an ipod link that displays ID3 tags?

Any aftermarket paint shop would be able to do that for you!

different shape and size to the Cooper, if you want mesh on a Cooper then you buy the aero kit mesh grill

I think the R56 Design Team have tactfully gone to Ground
{hopefully not in a motorway concrete support way}
