Offline | MINI Cooper for a week to review, any questions? Hello, Since Yesterday (well, late Thursday 30th), I have a MINI Cooper for review for a week. So if you have any questions or comments please post them up and I'll do my best to answer them while I have the car. I wont be doing a full daily "blog" as I did with the S last week, but I am taking a daily account for a full report. Offline | Paul, I am interested in knowing what you think about engine response, how it compares with the MCS and previous generation models you have driven. I would also like to hear about gas mileage. You indicated that the MCS test vehicle you drove was on the low side of the estimates. I'd like to see if that holds true for the Cooper or whether it's surpassing the 40 miles per gallon mark -- I'd be happy with that on either the imperial or U.S. gallon scales. ![]() |

Offline | So far so good, been tootling around town in it mostly so far (and it's already getting really grubby, curse the local roads!). MPG is not near 40mpg average, and that includes two treks up and down a dual carriageway when it normally improves MPG. |

Offline | Whats it like for response through the gears when overtaking for example ? Is there a point on the revs where it kicks in a bit? I'm being tempted back to a MINI.... |
