Offline | In my first Cooper, I had an XM satellite radio receiver mounted on a bracket on the right down tube. Loved the radio, but hated the way it looked. Never again. |

Offline | Nothing to regret so far, all brilliant: JCW Sound Kit Cooper S pedals Richbrook twist back tax disk holder in black with Mini logo Black fluffy dice Mini Ugly Doll and weird fluffy dog - driving companions Soon: iPod adaptor and passenger window mod from Newministuff. Next week I have Paul Dalton correcting my paintwork (dealer swirls and other little defects picked up over the last year). Miracle Detail When my Pirelli Runflats need replacing I'll probably go for all season non-Runflats to get better grip/ride and shed some weight. That will be all I think, my Cooper has a very high spec anyway and I don't think it's really worth messing with. I look forward to it being 6-10 years old and still in immaculate condition as I have a feeling original high-spec 1st gen cars are going to be in demand in years to come. Cheers, Geoff. |

Offline | I like your thinking about the hi-spec 1st gen. Had my 51 just over a week and still loving it! As yet the only difference is a silver Richbrook tax disk holder. Do want to replace the steering wheel as it's rather worn and the centre is marked. I know this is going a bit off the thread but what do people think about replacing it with the MCW 3 spoke leather wheel? |

Offline | I've just fitted some Silvertec indicator bulbs from Mikey and I love them. I've had the Philips Silver Vision bulbs in the past but I think they're still a bit orange. The Silvertecs are virtually indistinguishable! (Incidentally my Osram Diadems are for sale in classifieds. ) |
