Hudson Leader Car: Its Here!

Arrived at Morristown last night hoping to pick it up Saturday.

So what build date did you have. My Hudson Leader car is still sitting on the dock and was scheduled for delivery 8/17. I am starting to get frustrated again.

7/19 Build Date.

When I called yesterday morning, I was told my MINI had been released for transport from the VPC and should have departed yesterday afternoon. (I've showed marvelous restraint at not calling, I think I'll hop on the phone now, though).

At any rate, my build date was 7/26 but it cleared the plant on 7/24.

I'm starting to get frustrated now, too. My Hudson Leader MINI is still on the dock, but hasn't reached the VPC yet. My build date was 7/19, and my delivery date to Richmond, VA is 8/21... I'd lay odds that it's not going to make it.

Bassplayer I sympathize. My production date was also 7/19 (actually finished production on 7/15). Also came over on the Hudson Leader and is also still on the dock. It's supposed to leave the VPC on 8/21 with a delivery date in Buffalo, NY (~ 400 miles from the VPC - wait a minute Richmond is actually about 70 miles closer) of 8/23. Frustrating

My production date was 8/2. Finished on 7/30. Made it on the Hudson Leader. Arrived at VPC on 8/14. Scheduled to leave on the 20th. My wife tells me I have line carma. I hope it continues.

My build date was 7/12 and my car is still sitting on the dock. My scheduled delivery date us 8/17. I don't think it is going to make it.

Pamlico, I hear you, but I shouldn't complain. I have a feeling that my MINI is like me and has been partying with some of the other MINIs too much and didn't get in line. Maybe ours were partying together!!

Hey bassplayer my build date was 7/26, was finished 7/24.
As you may remember we both sat in England together but i missed three ships and was finally loaded on ship #4 the Don Juan, arrived Tuesday the 13th and I am sitting on the doc with you in NJ, seems our cars just like keeping each other company. my delivery date is saying the 8/21 I will believe when I see it.

Hey Terrance! Yes, I do remember! I guess our MINIs are destined to be dock-mates. I theorize that our MINIs were too busy partying at both docks and forgot to get in line! Well, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

My car was built 7/22 and is at the VPC now. It is supposed to be here the 22nd. I just got another car in that was built after mine and was supposed to also be trucked on the 21st. I guess they are working their way through the pile. It's a case of Last in, First out. I wish my car were built later, it would have been here by now.

I had a build date of 7/5. The car was finished on
7/5 and went to port on 7/9. It missed three boats and finally made the Hudson Leader on 8/2. Arrived in New York on 8/12 and I am still being told by
MINIUSA that it hasn’t made it to the VPC yet. On the MINI tracking site they are showing a delivery date of 8/14. I guess that date isn’t going to hold.

I have never been so frustrated in my life. I am really tired of MINI’s approach to delivery. Everytime I speak to the people at MINI or my dealer they seem so unconcerned. I feel helpless.
I just can’t believe it is taking sooo long.

I sold my old Accord on Thursday, so now I am without a vehicle. ARRRGH.
