Anybody get an S after buying Cooper?

Took delivery of my SG Cooper a week ago and have a deposit on an S but still several months away from spec-time. I've had so much fun with this car, I'm thinking there's no good reason to "move up." Only real benefit I can see is power, and I don't think I can part with my SG MINI just for power. Seems to scoot just fine without the supercharger (though the supercharger sure sounds sweet).

So, I was wondering if anybody had actually made the switch and are you glad you did?

I've had a Cooper since March and went to order an S on 11th August which will be arriving 25th October. The S's power and sound is unbelievable. The Cooper is missing something and the S has that something.

Yep..got rid of my Cooper in March and took delivery of my S in August.

And whilst I loved my Cooper the S is just so much better.
Worth every penny.

I did the opposite. I gave up an S for a Cooper. Both are awesome cars each with their own uniqueness. In a perfect world I'd have one of each.

My S is on order, BUT, I don't think I can give up the Cooper.....
I think my wife will drive the Cooper after I get my S.

We'll have to see how it works out.
No kids at home anymore, so it might just work.

Yup, I bought a Cooper in April and loved the car. In fact, I loved it so much that I wanted more.

So I traded it in for a Cooper S on August 1.

I can tell you that the added power, firmer suspension and Getrag 6-speed adds a high-performance feel to the MINI experience.

It sounds like an overstatement, but the Cooper S feels like a different class of car. I think it completes the package.

WORTH EVERY PENNY

Yep, got rid of my Cooper and got an S..........

An Audi S3 that is, quality fantastic, dealer service excellent, goes in a straight line, doesn`t rattle.

I`m well chuffed!

The Cooper, a great car that it is, does just not fully fulfil my needs hence the upgrade to the S,
I think it's a power thing...

Yep I went from a cooper to an S both are great cars, but the extra grunt of the S makes for effortles overtaking and the price is worth it just for the noise from under the bonnet. Doesn't half ruin the fuel economy though...but who cares....

I would have kept both if I could have though.
