United-Kingdom Mini Rallying!!

Don't know how interested anyone will be in this but i've been out in north yorkshire today and playing on single track roads that were like a rally course! caught some of it on video (trust me it was a lot more like fun actually driving it)

(video no longer available)

p.s ignore my commentary on the driving, i come out with some rubbish sometimes!

all good fun

ouch !

it was funny near the end of a video you can see an impreza coming out of a different single track, could tell he'd been doing the same thing and then he turned off on to another one off the normal road, this his car is more suited to be honest

More fun in a mini though!

Good idea. Post a video of yourself speeding on public roads on the internet, and then brag about it on a public forum!

They were all national speed limit road and the highest speed you see on the speedo is about 65mph, but if you're going to be a spoil then o.k i'll be quiet

And what is the National Speed Limit on unclassified single-carriageway roads?

You may want to get your speedo recalibrated at some point as well, as on everyone else's in the UK when the needle points straight up we're doing about 70.

i'm not defending myself here, i've taken the link down

p.s FEVS , you have a works, a cooper s is a fast car, to upgrade to a works is to say that you want to go faster but speeding isn't big or clever, so make comments on other people's driving.

Anyway, no hard feelings with anyone, we all drive mini's which goes to show the majority of mini drivers do take note of safety when driving not like you're average nova driver and i'm not wanting to argue with anyone (That means FEVS)

Nice pic!

Can see you putting some effort into whipping that one round the corner inside the car!

Its not a case of spoiling things, its a case of you doing something illegal, posting it on a forum, where it is against the rules of the site to do so, but could also get you in trouble too or encourage others to do the same.

For this reason and the fact that the video is no longer here this thread is now closed.

The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive?
