| Another Newbie Hi All! thought it was about time i made my maiden post! Anyways, my name is Chris and im 19, currently living in Nottingham, England. im a huuuuggge mini enthusiast although i currently drive a MkIV Golf  Im currently eyeing up a few mini coopers, though i have strict and stringent points that im looking for  .im fortunate enough to say i've just got into the Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and im waiting to start my training, in the meantime i hold a job working for a big Car Electronics company (mainly dealing in aftermarket electronics such as Headunits, speakers, subwoofers, sat nav, amplifiers etc etc etc....). all being well, i hope to have a Cooper by the summer and i already have pretty big plans, in terms of colour scheme's, subtle modifications etc. i am tempted to hold out until i am 20 in order to reduce my already steep insurance premium. current quotes on a cooper are coming back in the region of £1700. so fingers crossed but watch this space.... so, hello to all and so far soo good. i have been browsing the site for a while, but didnt really fancy signing up or posting as i dont have a mini, however in due course i should have  thank you! | Welcome to MINI2! Insurance for under-21s is always being discussed in the Insurance forum, worth taking a look to see who is coming up with the good deals at the moment. Hope you find the right MINI for you! |

| Welcome to MINI2 from a fellow Notts person Insurance is a nightmare! I'd be tempted to wait until you find the right car, whether you are 19 or 20, as I wouldn't have thought the insurance would change too much and you need to make sure you get your perfect car Good luck MINI hunting! |
