My Weekend Adventure

Hello everyone

I really want to share my weekends MINI adventure with you all so thought I would post up

Me and my girlfriend went down to Abasoch in Wales (yes... again!). We stayed in my girlfriends dads cottage just outside Pwethelli. This time though, the weather was amazing and I got some great photo's to document our adventure! We arrived on Friday night, and came home this morning, so almost all the pictures were taken on Saturday! I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did typing and uploading all the pics

(** Images shouldnt take too long to open as they have all been re-sized by Photo Bucket **)
----------------------------------

After the 2 hour journey from our home in Derbyshire, MINI was very tired and unfortunately covered in salt from the gritters we passed on the M56 and A55 and the already gritted roads! Not to worry though, she had been washed that afternoon and I had also topped her up on wax (Collonite 476S) to keep her protected for the journey! A quick spritz over with the hose the next morning soon sorted that out and MINI was looking beautiful again (Got in a swift beading shot too... all thanks to the 476!)

With the weather being great, we decided to treat MINI to a trip down to the beach for sea air Great opportunity for some pics! We went to three beaches, unfortunately only 2 of them I managed to get pictures on (memory card full).

Llanbedrog Beach; A very quiet beach in a beautiful setting with a woodland backdrop. I got MINI as close to the beach as I could and got some great pics! Unfortunately a couple of them didnt turn out well. Here are the best! (One of them is dark ) A nice tree reflection on the roof there, the wax really leaves a great finish!

Abasoch Main Beach:

I took MINI down the ramp thats used to launch boats into the sea. Great setting for some photos and the backdrop was amazing! Managed to get some really arty shots. My girlfriend sneaked in on one too

Next we took a trip up to the Yachting Club car park which overlooks the main beach! There was a stunning view from up here... I had to take some more pictures!

By this time we were all very hungry and decided to for some food at the pub! Later on we went back to the cottage and relaxed for the rest of the night! The next morning it was time to set off back home Weekends go so fast! On our little trip to Asda in Pwethelli to buy a few bits for the trip back, I found a great 'Photo-Spot' ! Bit dissapointed in the way the photo's turned out, think I had the camnera on the wrong setting. Thought I would post them up anyways.

Really hoped you have enjoyed reading about my weekend! As you can see though, my MINI is in need of a name Its been almost 8 months of ownership and I still havent decided on a name for her (I seemed to have decided on a sex haha)! So if anyone can help me on that I would be quite grateful

Sounds like you had a great time, and I like your photos.

It was a gorgeous day on saturday. I myself was out with my paraglider in Snowdonia National Park, flying off the Glyders.

I didn't take my camera though

Awesome pics Burns.

I too haven't given my MINI a specific name, although I also refer to her as MINI so I guess that's what will stick for now.
