Test drove a Clio 172 on Saturday after all the "rave" reviews about the 172 Cup....
MINI Fans can relax, yes the Clio 172 was quick but all I can say is "shame about the gearbox!!"
I am led to believe the cup has the same gearbox as the standard clio 172. what a disappointment, oh well off to the dealers to order an S.
I drove my standard cooper home, my curiosity satisfied and although the clio cup will be a worthy advesery in performance terms to the S, it just doesn,t feel very special.
