Hello all,

Good website and community you have here.

This is my first post on this website, so here goes.

Having sold the girlfriends car on Saturday we are now in a position to start seriously looking for a used Mini Cooper for her.

Max we want to spend is £8K
51 Reg +
Lower mileage the better (upto 40,000)
Want one with sports seats and decent alloys
One with JCW sound kit would be great, but plan to fit this anyway.

As you folk know these cars inside out, i would be very greatful if you could offer me as much advise as possible.
What should i look for on these cars, what should i be aware of, are there any know common faults etc, ?
Any advise you can offer me that will help us when we view a Mini Cooper would be much appreciated.

Take a look in the classified section.... there might be something to suit you...

also... i dunno what any1 else thinks but i would have thought that u would struggle to find a cooper with under 40k and the spec ur after for 8k. im not sure mind as im not a cooper owner...

Yeah i agree. My mate over the road is selling his cooper, 51 reg for 8K but its not the spec your after to match the price. But...... you never know, there might just be something out there for you.

you want one with a chilli pk then you'll get some of the options you want... if i was you i'd try stretching to 9k and maybe look out for a 52 plate or 03 plate.... they can be had you just need to look
