I actually sat down the other day and flicked through some of the first news articles.... the one I love was where Paul bumped into a production ready Cooper pre-launch in the street and had a look round it.

The sense of excitement in his write up was unbelievable.

My Works Cooper had been on order a month by then. Unfortunately I didn't know about MINI2 until 6 months later, after the miniclassic forum got fed up with me prattling on about the new MINI and directed me here. Haven't looked back since
