Slight window chip on part exchanged mini

A stone hit the windscreen on the motorway last year. Had it repaired for free on insurance but it's still noticeable. It's around 8mm diameter in the bottom corner of the passengers side. I've ordered a new Mini and the old ones going in as a part ex. What I'd like to know is what should I do? Say nothing? Ask the insurance company to fix it?

Any help would be most appreciated

If it has been repaired, I wouldn't say or do anything. I doubt they will notice when you trade it in

I'd do nothing unless the dealer advises it's affecting the part ex value - if it is by more than £50 ( or whatever your windscreen excess is) then change it on the insurance.

When fixed they are usually guaranteed... for MOT's etc) I had a chip repaired on mine and it is still visible but have been told that it won't cause an issue with my dealer...

UPDATE: I checked with insurance company, they said they could replace it. But I thought I'd check with the dealer to see whether I needed to get it replaced and he said it would be fine as it is. RESULT: I don't need to fork out the £60... I wonder if I should add more stuff to my new mini...
