anyone any idea whether there are any speed cameras on M6 J11 to M1 southbound

if not what are the overhead cameras on the bridges. and for the matter which motorways have cameras and are others allowed mobile cameras

not planning on speeding but nice to be able to drive without being paranoid...and yes I know you wouldnt be if you stuck to 70

the cameras on the bridges are cctv wired back to the central control at Great Barr. No speed cameras unless theres roadworks. But they can see you going fast on the cctv and alert a car to go and get you

when I came back from the airport there were new average speed cameras set up on some roadworks just southbound just after the toll road merge before J3, and northbound too.

i assume the roadworks near J2 are the average cameras they do look slightly different. yellow cameras on blue stand? everyone obayed the limit so must have been
