Hi folks,

Today one of our members has had their MINI stolen.

The car was parked in Brighton, and is a MINI Cooper S in Hyper Blue with White roof and bonnet stripes, Aero skirts and silver S-spokes.

NA54 MCS

Please keep an eye out and phone the police immediately if spotted.

Police have just been and have given them all the details they seem to think that it may have been moved to apound and they said they would ring round their contacts as its highly unlikely that its been stolen because of the immobiliser and the fact that i had an autolock on it, but as i pointed out to them if it was stolen on the back of a lorry that looked like it was legit would anyone question it?

Feeling quite numb still but will now try and get some sleep. I so want to forget 26/02/07!

A few streets away but as I have been in Taunton all day wouldn't have heard it as i left about 7am and only got back to Brighton at 10 last night!

I am so tired but i just know i won't sleep!

My mate bought a Hyper Blue / White MCS from Wood of Bournemouth in January which a week later turned out to be stolen/cloned. Luckily Wood took it back - but proves they can be stolen.
