You may or may not know that Derek Woodman MINI in Blackpool are arranging a Guiness Book of World Record breaking attempt at the longest MINI Convoy...

This is a plea for even more help!!

We would like to get BBC Radio 1 involved somewhere (ideally a DJ on location!!!) but have no contacts in the right areas
If anyone knows of someone that may be of any help it would be greatly appreciated.

Please, please, please help us!!!

Great idea, shame I can't make it. Not sure you'll have much luck with Radio 1 though you might be better off with a local station...

Chris moyles loves the mini convertable he's always saying he wants one maybe if you let him have one for the evening he may help

BBC Lancashire are keen to give us a little coverage... but we're thinking on a bigger scale!!

Getting the Radio 1 crew down would be great! Chris Moyles and Comedy Dave, Sara Cox and Jo Whiley and we would be sorted

If it is for comic relief then I think we stand a chance of getting them here or at least just one. At the moment there is the "Rallyoke" event being hosted by Radio1 to raise money, maybe they could tie this in?

Moyles used to have a MINI I think he might still have one. He has been spoted in them quite a few times

There is no chance of getting them up here. If you think about it they can do more good in London (on the TV etc). If they come up here its very limited how much they can help to raise money.

Also they dont do out for nowt, not even for charity .

Granada 2night would be your best bet!!
