Time for me to take the wraps of a little something I've been baking for a little while, and ask for your help and input.

the Motorcade

The MINI2 Blogs haven't really worked as well as I'd hoped, and (as blog owners have previously been notified) will be removed at the end of March 2006.

Still, after sounding out some ideas with the moderators (thanks folks!), I am starting something new. An off-shoot, something very different to MINI2, but still related, if only in as much as it's for MINI owners and enthusiasts.

the Motorcade allows anyone to set up a free blog (like: The collected works of ScottyB for example). You can customise the look, feel and of course you dictate the tone of your blog.

As it's a brand new service I'm really keen to hear feedback and offer support and advice. I really would like to make the Motorcade a service that every MINI owner (who wants a blog!) can enjoy! As such the Motorcade has it's own support forums at the Motorcade.

Although I'm obviously asking people on MINI2 to be the first to take the plunge, I'm going to close this thread as the Motorcade really is a separate entity from this website.

p.s. Although it's for MINI owners, you don't HAVE to talk about MINIs all the time, that's up to you.

p.p.s. If you already have a blog at somewhere like Blogger.com or Wordpress.com (or even MINI2), and you like what you find at the Motorcade, there's an import facility if you decide to move.
