How stoooooooooooooooopid
Was driving along with the red light on thinking I can make it to the next garage and then splutter splutter stop
I was sat there , in the sunshine , windows down, no power and feeling a right lemon when this bee then flew into my MINI
First off I was worried it might sting me but then I was fascinated watching it, buzzing up to the fuel gauge repeatedly , almost like it was trying to tell me something, stupid thing I thought, i know I've run out.

Suddenly it buzzed around my head a couple of times and then shot off out of the window again.
I got out of the car and opened the filler cap, rocked the car to see if i could hear any liquid in there at all but nothing. Then there was this load humming noise, I look around and there was this bee again but with a massive swarm of bees behind it - PANIC
They headed straight for me so I dived out of the way and back into the car, amazed to then watch the bees all one by one go into the fuel tank

After a while they came out again and flew off - needless to say I was really perplexed by all this now and the anger at having run out of fuel was replaced with a sensation of surrealism !!
It was then I noticed the fuel gauge, and the reading was now half full again

I turned the key and the engine started first time
Well I drive off putting the whole experience down to a hangover and that last bottle of red wine last night when I suddenly realised what had happened ...........
