I've been relegated to driving my 14 year old Citreon AX (first car I used when I passed my test) until my MCS arrives next week.
If you think any of the afor mentioned cars were bad, you should give this a blast. Saying that though, It has stood me and my family in good stead and still runs like a dream.

I know how you feel. Until my MCS gets fixed, I'm stuck with the crappy PT Cruiser. The thing drives like a riding lawn mower (and sounds like it). I hope the dealer can get the body parts to repair my baby soon.
I currently work for Vauxhall Motors in Ellesmere Port, and as our plant is pretty large we have internal cars used to get around (no MOT, no Tax etc). Most of them have slight defects, mostly cosmetic. Anyways... I get to drive a fair few around, but mostly drive a 2.2L Frontera. Its an absolute shed, and feels like it is about to tip up on even the smallest of corners/bends . It really is that bad!
Although.......... not quite as bad as the 1.7DTi astra i drove the other day! (The DTi is the previous diesel engine, the one before the CDTi's which are actually quite good engines). It was amazingly slow, had no go, and has a disgusting interior!
Need I say anymore? As soon as I get in my MINI to drive home, it just makes me smile that I am lucky enough to have one
I had a Corsa once as a courtesy car and it was so slow!! I didn't like driving it but it was better than the new Fiesta 1.25 I later had, I swear it was a road sweeper in disguise!! ..
I don't mean to be funny but the ROVER designers and engineers created the drive train and set up the handling of the Mini as BMW had never manufactured a front wheel drive car before.
You'll find many Rover ideas in BMWs since the buy over eg indictor stocks, variable valve control system.
But I wouldn't call Rover/MG crap cars.
I love gettin back into the Mini after driving other cars like my dads focus, but there two different types of cars for different purposes.
I drive a crap car every day. It's split both the top sturt bushes now. another $500 bucks. The only reason i keep it is to find out what's going to break next.
I love Warsaw. Where else can you hug a pole?

I sold my 1st ever Clio (L-reg) to my sisters bf, who still has it, thought it was a fab little car....as it was my 1st car i bought (wel folks bought) went to visit them a few months back and had to move it so i could park my MINI where i could see her (sad i know) and it was awful to drive-even just a little way-the clutch was heavy and the pedals were 'pedals' not like our nice push-down flappy pedals.... was a dream to park up my MINI and hand him back my old Clio keys!!... its his 1st car and he loves it...so we're both happy!!

Just had the pleasure (well ok not really) to drive my friends 1.2 V reg Fiesta. What makes it worse is that he needs a new clutch as it is constantly slipping. So the biting point was basically right at the top and when i pushed down the accelerator it was barely moving as the clutch wasn't engaging the gears properly so the car just revved whilst moving slowly . Did get eventually moving but every time you change gears you had to barely accelerate, wait to hear that the clutch has engaged then you can put your foot down. Dont know how he lives with it. How nice it was to drive my mini after that though
I had the unfortunate pleasure of driving my moms sport KA down quite a fun B road back from the shop to the house. Mom didn't want to go in my cooper as the sun was out and she wanted roof off her car. I have never felt a car flex and bend like that one! Couldn't belive the difference i power either between Cooper and Ford. It has a VERY underpowered 1.6 petrol engine.
Next time can someone remind me to let my mom know i have a sunroof on Cooper...
