After taking a test drive in a Mini Cooper I was prepared to order one but was disappointed to find that the colour I wanted, (Dark Silver) is only available on the MCS.

Has anyone found a way round this restriction?
The dealer says he is unable to order one in that colour for the MC!

Knights South Staffs had a Cooper delivered in Dark Silver by accident (see here) which may still be available, but otherwise no, there's no way round it in the UK unless you want to pay for a full respray.
