Offline | Im alive.. Just Hello, I recently purchased a mini cooper s.. probably one of the most exciting things i have done.. looked at it everyday and was my baby.. Well Last night though i had a major car accident and my mini is no more.. the main thing is me and my 3 friends survived and i appreciate that so much.. Our luck was in as they say.I will post pictures later but the car swerved , spun out skimed a lampost and turned onto its roof into a field. The reason why.. someone deciding to play games when i overtook him when he was driving slowly.. speeding up as i went past.. then either understeering or pushing me out to the kerb and thats all i remember properly... luckily my friends pulled us out as they were following behind.. the other car left the scene. Im still shocked.. but im alive. lots of love sam x Pictures: Actually a nice one i think ![]() Puntured passenger tyre ![]() Front view ![]() ![]() Where i hit the kerb ![]() The bad parts ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() my door ![]() We were lucky.. Offline | Sorry to hear that Sam, but as you say the main thing is you and your mates are all ok. Would be interested to see the pics of the car to see how well it held up to it. |

Offline | Glad to hear you are all still in one piece. Persons who wrecklessly and deliberatly try to force another off the road should be up for attempted murder. What other result are they expecting other than death? I had a similar experience only a few days after picking up my MCS. 100yds after light 2 lanes merge. I am in MCS outside lane, set off reasonably. Muppet in 4x4 in inside lane when he sees my tail lights floors his 4x4. OK so I back off and I avoid an incident. Girfriend didnt see it like that, she assumed i had somehow given a secret signal to race the 4x4 driver. Got ear ache all night!! At least thats all that was aching. Anyone reading this, you love your car, someone tries someting on. Back off!! you win. |

Offline | having said this, a while ago i was driving down a dark country road at night going the speed limit and some punk in a mondeo tried to overtake me at about 60/70 and lost control and spun out in front of me, I was pretty shook up because I had only just started driving and for months afterwards I had a phobia of people trying to overtake me. I personally never overtake on a single carriageway due to this.. |

| Hannah banana! | Hey SamR, Glad you and your friends are okay. I can't believe they didn't even stop! I mean it's one thing to be a total idiot and cause an accident, but to not even stop is something else entirely! There really are some complete losers in this world, no sense of morality, it makes me so cross! I hope someone managed to get their number plate. People like that should be put behind bars! |

Offline | Going to take more than a bit of T-Cut to sort that out for sure! Amazing how many roll over accidents we've seen on here and everyone seems to get out OK, thankfully! |

Offline | Crikey, that was a bad accident - glad you were all ok, were you injured at all though, even slightly? Like the others have said, did anyone manage to get the reg number of the who forced you off the road? I guess the police must be involved? Last edited by Paul : Apr 20th, 2007 at 04:47 PM.
