The Book of MINI

Anyone seen this at the dealers ??

I flicked through it when I sold my S to Wollaston MINI this week

But what a fab book..... some great development sketches and concepts in there, along with all the history.

Asked if I could buy one but they only get given one copy per dealership aparently!!

Anyone know different?

Phil.... is it the one called 'the little book of mini' by Brian Laban??

(just checked Lauras link and its not...though it is another good MINI book with history-MINI One D 2004)

Its the big one in the dealers, multicolored cover, square, loads of pages and tons of really cool visuals of the MINI family.

If you don't like/care about marketing ********, I find Graham Robson's "New MINI - Second Edition"to be a fantastic book as well.

I think this new book concentrates more on the "cult"aspect of the MINI ownership experience by mentioning MINI clubs and internet forums/blogs.

But this begs the question... How many more books do we really need about the new MINI?

Patrick Paternie's book

Graham Robson's book

and now this new edition.

I have it and it's an excellent book indeed.
Very informative and superbly put together and laid out.
Lots of superb pics and sketches.

I have the MINI concept book too which is worth finding..
