MINI luggage

Anyone know how much this set costs? It looks really nice and I want to get it. Do you have to buy the whole set, or can you just get pieces of it?

The luggage is made by Samsonite, and comes with the 10 year Samsonite warranty. It is custom designed to fit in the boot. I believe you have to buy the whole set, but I'm not positive about that. The set is $467.00. It was also designed to fit in with or without the CD changer.
It is not available yet, but plans are to start having it available within the next week or so.

Not sure if it would be the same or not. Sorry. I'll try to find out for you, although my luck getting answers from MINI is about as good as most peoples. I called them a month ago to find out if we could retro fit the new sport steering wheel, and still haven't heard back.

I will do my best to get some pics. We are going to have a sample here for the rally next weekend. After the 7th, I'll be able to post some pics.

I was picking up my car yesterday and they priced each piece separately. You shouldn't have to by the whole set.

It would appear our American cousins have us Brits at an advantage when it comes to information about the new MINI luggage.Rang up the parts dept' at my local dealership and found they knew nothing about the luggage-gave them the
99 00 0003 306 number and came up as "number not known" on their computer.
Tried ringing MINI Information(08000836464) and no joy there Im afraid. Also tried e-mailing customer services at
customer.services@mini.co.uk but apparently this e-mail address does not exsist.
So barring that anything about these items is covered by The Official Secrets Act,does anyone here in dear old blighty know anything about the launch date/cost etc.
Cheers,
RAYASP.

Just received this reply from Samsonite Uk

Quote:
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I have contacted our
European headquarters in Belgium and apparently there has been some talks
going on but there isn't anything that has been finalized. The UK division
of Samsonite hasn't yet been briefed on this so i suggest that it would be
some time before this would come to market in the UK.
