Opinions needed for parts websites/dealers

Hi,

I tried to do a search on this site for MINI parts... but I didn't have much luck... can you all give me some opinions on good websites/places to get MINI parts with good deals and customer service? So far I've found MiniCarParts, MiniMania, Helix13, MiniSport, MossMini, Rogue Engineering and RSpeed.

I'm shopping for these parts rather than have them ordered with my '07 MCS:
* glove box organizer
* Black Rubber Boot Mat
* Bumper Protection
* Grocery Bag Holder
* JCW Floor Mats (Front & Rear)

Also, does anyone how much the MINI dealership would charge to have the above installed? When I created my MINI, I saw that those prices didn't include installation... I can't imagine the above things really needing installations (i.e. floor mats???).

Thanks all!!!

Your floor mats won't be charged any installation, it's just the price of the mats. You should just ask your dealer their prices for installation and ask for discount since you're planning on purchasing a lot. I think that installation prices are different with each dealership.

Thanks Lil_Mini...

One of the dealers at MINI suggested I not order the accessories with the car, and instead order them afterwards throught their shop or wherever. He was saying that sometimes those parts either get lost or stolen... anyone ever heard of this?

The best ones are all in here: http://www.mini2.com/sponsors.html as they paid for you to post the question (in a round about way).

Thumbs up www.eagleday.com

They were great when I needed to import parts for my MINI from the States.

They even assisted me to trace a part that was not listed on their site.

You will not be dissapointed.

I think that if your accessary parts get lost or stolen they are still responsible for them. I think that maybe you should wait on ordering your accessories until you get your Mini because they may just come out with something new that you like. My dealer gave me a 15% discount on all accessories if I purchased them before I picked up my Mini, so I think you should wait till close to delivery to see if they have something like that for you. Or haggle for buying a lot if they don't. Also check on ebay, sometimes you can find good deals on mats.
