Dead Silver/Black MINI in Austin!!!

Saw my first MINI on the road yesterday...unfortunately it appeared abandoned on the side of the road (HWY 290 in South Austin, TX going West). I pulled over to see if I could help but the owner was nowhere in sight. It wasn't exactly the way I wanted to see my first MINI on the road, espicially since I'm picking mine up on Friday in Memphis. If the owner of this particular car is a MINI2 member, please let me know what happened. Is everything OK?
