Sold my MCS Works a couple of weeks ago and have bought myself an MX5 (ok, don't mock! had all the ususal 'hairdressers car' rubbish with my MINIs - the 5 is certainly er...different to the MINI....rear wheel drive + greasy roundabouts

)

The one thing I REALLY miss is the sound of that supercharger & exhaust. Before we sold the car, Mrs A recorded a 'full attack' drive-by on her mobile - its a pretty low quality (and short ....wonder why

) recording, but the noise is absolutely AWESOME! If anyone with a Works hasn't done this (and can persuade their partner to hang around at the roadside!), I can recommend it - the noise alone makes the cost of the Works kit worth it.

If anyone has got a decent recording of an MCS Works driving past on full power, please let me know - Yes, I know it seems rather sad, but I'd love to have a copy, just to remind me of the old motor now and again (boo hoo hoo)
