£250 Aston Martin Experience Voucher Up For Grabs!

OK Folks. One last push to make some extra money for Marie Curie Cancer Care AND spoil yourself a little!

A chance to really feel like Bond for the day! (Or weekend).

We have a £250 discount voucher up for grabs, courtesy of the lovely people at The Aston Experience and it's going to the highest giver!

ANY donations made on the Justgiving - MINI2 Raising Funds for Marie Curie web page between now and Friday 25th May (donations made ON Friday will count), will be entered into the bidding.

The individual who makes the highest donation will be offered a £250 Discount Voucher towards any Aston Martin hire with The Aston Experience

So PLEASE, give all you can, and lets make this last push to help the 2007 Charity Ball and fund raising for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Details of standard rates, collection and delivery options and full terms and conditions available on The Aston Experience website. Age and insurance limitations may apply, so check first!

Thank you, and good luck!

Justgiving - MINI2 Raising Funds for Marie Curie

A few points for clarification.

The highest DONATOR, not bidder wins. So if Mr.Y bids £10, Mrs.X donates £20, then Mr.Y donates another £15, he's the leading donator.

For prices of rental, check the Aston Martin Experience website. I believe prices start at around £450 a day, but it's worth checking with them/on their website for the car and duration you'd most like.

MMMM I have the same feeling

Anyway it was worthwhile supporting the cause and seeing Paul doing his James Bond was also worth it.

Why were there no Halle Berri look alikes doing the same thing

The voucher came late, hence the late bidding.

No problems

Obviously not delivered in an Aston Martin then - probably came by Post office Vauxhall

Anyway, as it stands we're at £0.

So a £5 donation COULD win it (although I hope it goes higher!).

So do I - we need some more serious bidders in this thread.

It could be fairly active next Friday afternoon - must make sure I have internet access.

Lets hope it makes some serious money

Fingers crossed. It's our last push for the 2007 Charity Ball "pot", before we know the total raised.

Basically as long as the payment is put on the site before Saturday, 23:59.59 on Friday I guess.

will the format not mean people logging on at 11:59 on Friday to donate 1p more than the previous person? I suppose that will still raise cash! Would a raffle at £5 a ticket raise as much? Just wondering as I'd definitely have a few tickets then!

mmmmmm...Aston Martin

That's the nature of "auctions" I guess.

The nice thing is even if you don't "win", you're still contributing to a great cause.

Just to clarify too, it's the person who donates the most during this week.

So if you give £10, someone else gives £15, and you give another £7, you're the one in pole position.

Thought that was pretty obvious, but wanted to make sure it was clear.

I know its not bidding as such... I guess I should have said what time is the latest that an amount can be donated and still be in the running - which is answered above I'll just have to make sure I make a decent donation when I do make one and then cross my fingers

Although it would make the weekend working more palatable if I knew I had got that voucher and able to think I have
a) helped a good cause (Marie Curie)
and
b) helped a good cause (me get in an Aston ) !

Apologies - not trying to make this into a bidding war but heck..if it gets more money in the pot how can it be bad

(and I bet Snowie is gonna beat me anyway......)
