Are some Colors better than Others?

Does anyone believe they get more comments or are notice more from other drivers on the road because of the color of their mini? I want to use my mini for some "branding" advertising here in the Bay area and eventhough Pure Silver works best for my logo...I would think that some color like Electric Blue would have a better advertising effect.

Do Electric Blue/Yellow owners feel like they are getting a lot more comments and notice in their mini than others?

Ok, I've decided:
My Car Aimee: Mini "S", Pure Silver/B, Premium (A/C and sun roof), DSC, Fog, and Heated seats. (Why? 'cause I can't wait a year)

I think the colors that MINI owners notice are different than the ones the general public notice. I tend to look twice at the rare colors, like pepper white or velvet red. I get lots of compliments on my silk green from other MINI owners.

But I think the most eye-catching colors in general are electric blue, chili red, and liquid yellow. Anything in yellow tends to draw attention.

Poor MINI being exploited for her good looks.

However, from a brand management point of view, it will certainly work!!!

Yeh, that's the problem I'm dealing with. I think the Liquid Yellow is the most eye catching too and I can switch from Pure Silver to Yellow...but Yellow is just too feminine for a sports car. I suspect that BMW to come out with little green flowers to go on the Yellow one to compete with the woman buying VB Bugs soon....

Sheesh I wish I could switch to Electric Blue....

Ok, I've decided:

Somebody's gotta do it....
She gets notice and I would like my products to get noticed with her.

The state of Virginia is using a yellow MINI as an anti-smoking ad. It's decorated with Le Mans type numbers and stripes, and they drive it to schools. Kids get to sit inside and talk about things to a camera.

The hubby would disagree with you about yellow being feminine. Yellow and black was his color choice, but I talked him into a silk green with white.

Pure silver blends into the horizon on a cloudy day if you don't have any lights on. Don't know if that counts for much.

Both silvers make for ghost cars, the kind you don't see in the fog until it's too late...

If I was going to vote on it, I'd say Chili Red - it looks good in EVERY lighting situation. Sometimes, IMHO, Liquid Yellow looks washed out, sometimes it looks dark, sometimes light...

CR looks lovely all the time. And it is a most appropriate color for a sports car!

Well the S doesn't even come in Silk green so that color is really not possible.

Gee, now I know what it feels like for a quote to be taken out of context.

Sorry...
I think the silk green is my favorite.... I was bummed when I saw it didn't come on the S. Our logo is dark blue with "lime green". The silk green goes with the blue and makes the lime green stick out....

I guess I was thinking about how I bummed I was....

Can you post a picture of your logo? It would help in discussing possible colors, to see what needs matched.

Pretty Logo

You are right, it would have looked very good on silk green. I think the second best choice would be yellow, but it would look good on either of the silvers, red, or black, too.

Have you thought of a black/white, with your logo on both the roof and doors?
