| MINI2 Master (Oh Wow!) | Yesterday, was sitting in my Cooper, day dreaming of my S! Pondering over a MINI thought, I don't know why but I held up the central locking button and to my suprise the windows and roof opened! I told my dealer this was a nice feature, he'd never heard of it!!! Try it...you know you will!!! Alex. ![]() Black and White Cooper here, soon to be an Electric Blue & White S, with the WORKS!! Offline | What happens if you need to read them later and you've already eaten them?! Seriously though, I'm going to my car now to get something, so I'll give it a go. ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | Only if you have remote comfort opening enabled. See FAQ on 'memory options'... Although there's even more now it seems! Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | The dealer didn't maintain your memory settings? Cheers. |

| MINI2 Master | The car did then when delivered. There is a short delay, perhaps half a second or so, before the windows start to go down. Offline | Works the other way as well.......lock your car with the key and hold it for a second or two, and all your windows and sunroof will close.....it stops at any position when you release the key (small delay) and will continue when you turn the key again......... Remote comfort closing cannot be done in Qld/Australia as according to BMW the windows & sunroof do not have an automatic reversing facility if they get obstructed. Even my garage door has this facility.Enjoy PS. re-programming takes about 2 minutes.........dealers are ripping you blind if they charge you for changing the comfort options. |
