Exclamation :: Today ::

Today has been an eventful day,

It started off as many do with a boring drive to work,

But then whizzing past me came a DARK BLUE VOLVO S70 with an ORANGE sticker in the rear window.

He sped past myself and then the car infront but as doing so cut the car infront of me up causing the Driver to swerve and loose control which resulted in her leaving the road.

It wasnt a great piece of road to leave either as the grass verge is overgrown and has an incline which drops about 20ft to which point her car was stopped by some trees.

As soon as I saw the driver infront loose control I started to slide as it was wet, I came to rest and being first on the scene and at 6:20am not many cars come that way I slid down the side of the road without thinking and came to the car..

The engine was still running and the doors were locked the car was trapped on one side by a tree but then looking through the rear side window i could see a baby in the back too.. the driver looked to be out cold so I smashed the rear window to gain access into the rear of the car and removed the baby complete with her car seat, I made sure she was ok and still with it so to speak then i returned to the car and made that safe before seeing to the driver..

Its suprising how much you remember in emergency situations as i had to give her CPR.. she came to after a few goes and by that time the police had arrived..

The little baby Girl has now had a clean bill of health at the hospital and is with her father who are now both with the mother/wife as she has come to after surgery and is now on the way to recover..

I'm off to see the boys in blue again later after work to give a full statement

THIS IS A PLEA FOR HELP..

If anyone hears a friend or friend of a friend bragging about a similar incident get in contact as the driver didnt stop who caused this to happen

it happen at 6.10-6.20am this morning

on

"RADWAY GREEN ROAD" which is just off the A500 @ JUNCTION 16 of the M6.

That's terrible that the Volvo didn't stop, surely he saw the car swerve off the road?

Well done you Jon, if you hadn't stopped the car might not have been found for hours

Wow, that's terrible, but it's good to hear that the passengers of the car are now ok. Now all they need is to catch the driver of the Volvo!

Well done Jon.

As for the actions of the VOLVO driver, after 5mins, I am still at a loss to describle what I feel after reading your report.

I'm still at a loss to find that no one else stopped even though my car was left in the road with the door open with the hazard lights on.. i heard a few cars come past but the first person after me to the scene was a police man..

Thumbs up Jon. Must have been quite a shock once the adrenalin had faded away.

Glad all concerned are well.

There are some idiots on our roads, I know what I would like to do to who ever this was, and it wouldn't be pleasant.

Good work Jon, you could say "anyone would do it in the same situation", but sadly that's just not true, so glad you were around to help.

OMG! Well done you! You are a hero!!!!!

You've got to be proud about your brilliant thinking in that situation and that early in the morning!

its a very sad thing that someone can run after doing such a thing. Glad you were there for her though. Glad shes hopefully going to be fine.

Dude, you should work for the RAC as a 'Knight of the Road'...you should be commended for your lifesaving success mate...good on yer Jon

Everyone POST THIS TO OTHER FORUMS as many peeps as poss in the Crewe area should keep there eye's peeled for the perp and shop them to the authorities if seen. Leaving the scene of an accident is scuminess in the highest degree and sadly is never dealt with by our justice system as it should be.

Thumbs up

Our new Superhero Jon,

Thats awesome news.....

Ya see all other drivers would have been concerned that they need to get to work but the MINI driver is the one to stop!!

And good luck to the family regaining full health and the Police finding this criminal.

Good work Jon.
