Lost in Translation?

Is it just me who finds the image in this news story a little worrying?

MINI Japan Celebrating Official Opening of Hiroshima MINI

I thought it looked cool, but that guy doesn't look comfortable to me. Not sure if it's the expression, the piercing blue eyes or his rather odd "MINI < NEW MINI" voice bubble that's the most disturbing.

Maybe he was being lazy, neglected to untie his top button, and he's just, after long struggle, managed to squeeze his head through, and the expression and yell are as a result of serious "ear burn". The MINI < NEW MINI was just dubbed in later.

Perhaps he's doing a Pavarotti impression and singing his New MINI speech bubble?

The scared facial expression must be the shock and awe when one sees a R56 for the first time...

I read this as the guy was just bit in the crotch by a small dog named "NEW MINI" and he is yelling at his trusty MINI to come bite the dog (otherwise I'm not sure what MINI < NEW MINI is). The trusty MINI in the background is coming sa fast as possible to assist.
