Offline | Yes you can see the marks in the muck on the screen where 8 fingers have been! Also i would have noticed when i last drove it as there is a lot more wind noise without it, i am a bit sad at noticing things like that. |

Offline | Someone once took out my mates windscreen out, it rained heavy that night too and ruined all his dashboard electrics too. My mate said he had to keep looking at his car before he could comprehend what had happened. |

Offline | Plus at least one or two of the clips break as you take the trim off - so they probably wont' be finding it that useful anyway! When my screen was replaced the Autoglass bloke said they always fit new trims as part of the job as the old ones always break. Bad times all round for you and the tea-leaf! ![]() |

Offline | Well they certainly used to have a couple of screws, but these always caused them to fracture after the windscreen was replaced and the fitter over tightened the screws.... so the question is, has this part been modified....? The A pillars do tend to fall off, but usually when your doing well over the speed limit and the noise made is like someones opened the side windows, so you surely would have noticed..... |
