i think its nuts that they are trying to do this what about us decent folk who just like a drive around with our friends!!!!!!!

sounds like they are targetting one group, as in boy racers, and taking out the rest of us in teh process.

what constitutes as an acceptable gap between groups?

what about formal clubs?

Well if that causes other councils to monitor car club activity, surely it's down to us to make sure runs are well organised, safe and not a nuisance to other road users and communities. The ball is in our court.

The way our local Chav Racers behave I'd actually welcome such a move around here just now. Bunch of idiots they are.

And they give all car enthusiasts a bad name.

I read they're going to ban cars from using the roads to address the congestion problem. Celebrities, Farmers and the Emergency Services are exempt.
