Thumbs down ABS works ;-)

Whilst driving home from work this afternoon a twit in an Audi convertible pulls out from a side road, directly in front of me and then just sits there!

Roads were wet and i really thought this is gonna hurt.

Slammed on the brakes and as the pedal pulsated under my right foot, swerved around the back of him and came to a controlled stop the other side.

Big thanks to the inventor of ABS

Yep, ABS is the only real driver aid i dont mind, along with PAS.

When you see rain think to yourself 'the idiots will out in force, watch for everything'
Everyone seems to panic at the slightest bit of water for some reason. You can drive exactly the same pace as the dry with new tyre technology, the only hinderance is visibility. You certainly dont expect speeds to go from 60 down to 28mph.
