BMW win design awards for Coffee Maker, Kids Bike, MINI and more!

http://www.mini2.com/news/

BMW Group won "Design Team of the Year" at the Red Dot design awards. What surprised me was that designs included a coffee maker, a home recycling centre and six others

The new MINI was one of the winners too.

No doubt they must have a diverse and talented bunch of designers at BMW!

That coffee maker would make a neat piece of kitchen jewelry. I'd have difficulty parking a MINI in the kitchen

I'll stick to my Gaggia.
I like the recycle center OK, but it is just easier to live in a builgin with re-cycle down the hall - plus no room in the kitchen for another bin. I'll live in a real place again someday - then I suppose I'll be adding kit to the kitchen.

C'mon fellow R56 owners - let's hear your say on this thread.

We may have been vindicated and bought into a potential design classic after all!!
