Sad day for my mini

Just heard from my dealer that my mini came in with a stress fracture of the windscreen. I came in on the Hudson Leader with an expected delivery date of August 21. Since everyone was waiting I figured I was in line.

Does anyone know what kind of additional time it will take now? I just gave up my other car this weekend anticipating delivery.

When a rock/stone from a truck cracked my windshield a couple of months ago, the repair at an auto glass place took very little time. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up that afternoon. I had to wait just two days for the official MINI replacement windshield and weather stripping to come in so your wait should at most be two days but if they know in advance of the problem they should be able to have the parts waiting for it.
