Unhappy Have you ever sold your beloved MINI to purchase a house?

Yes everyone has to step onto or move up the property ladder one (several) day (s) in their lives including myself and property prices do not help either. In fact i'm in the middle of buying a property but after a mortgage assessment i am falling a couple of K's short.

Obviously selling my beloved MINI will quickly resolve this but i'm not even thinking of going that route. Therefore to gauge some feedback and experiences, how many of you have actually but reluctantly sold your MINI stump up the deposit for a property?

I'm at the same stage of you now, but they MINI is staying put.

Long term the return on property would be the wise thing to do, but hey Im 26 and I want it all.... NOW!!

I've just used the money I had saved up to buy a GP to pay back the deposit on my flat I borrowed from my mum so, whilst not exactly selling a MINI, I know what you're going through.

It was a hard decision at the time, but I now know it was the right one!

I was on the verge of doing it this week but regained my senses...

I sold my Mercedes to buy my first house a couple of years ago - 6 months with a Fiesta was more than enough so I bought my first Mini. So it all worked out great in the end.

Obviously not as big a sacrifice as selling a Mini but it helped me get the house I really wanted.

Didn't buy any decent cars before buying my first house 10 years ago. Now I am in a better financial position I'm getting the cars I've always wanted Only problem the cars I've always wanted no longer tick the right boxes !!!!

911 964 and 308 GTS was always the dream but in todays world they are old and slow and cost a fortune to keep on the road.
