The 2008 MINI2 Charity Ball is long announced ( not registered yet ? click here then http://www.mini2.com/forum/mini2-cha...ll-2008-a.html ) and fundraising kicks off with immediate effect

This year we are raising funds for the Make A Wish Foundation, a charity who bring a little magic to the lives of very poorly, often terminally so, children by granting a wish they may have. A simple gesture but something that a child will cherish forever, especially at a time of such anxiety.

This charity was strongly supported by the late Maxamini (Ed) and Ruthie who we sadly lost from our MINI community, we have chosen to raise funds for it this year in celebration of their wonderful lives and the goodness and warmth they bought to us and others they encountered.

You can make a donation towards this great fundraising by clicking the link below, but so far the fund raising balance is £0 ............ who will be first to make a donation, and get there name in lights on this front page?

And who will be the person to tip the balance over the first £500 raised?

i remember something like this on disney cruise line over xmas there.

they brought some children on from the make a wish foundation for a free cruise. On the first night of the cruise the cruise directors got them to light the xmas tree in the main atrium by throwing "pixie dust" over it and then the tree lit up.

It is an amazing idea though!
