Only US Dealer to sell both MINIs and Minis?

My local paper ran an article on the new MINI. In a side note, the writer said that Checkered Flag MINI of Virginia Beach is the only MINI dealer in the US that was also a Mini dealer. So I started to wonder if that could be true. Anyone here know of another dealer that also sold new Minis?

Never heard of one to do that.

But hey! I saw my first silk green at MINI of South hampton today. Boy! What a great color. It's a real shame they are discontinuing it. You are so lucky to have one! It sings with a white roof.

oh. And I see you are in Norfolk. Small town (not). Know a Stef Walsh, by chance? Had to ask.

Really, though, I've never heard of a dealership selling pre-2002 minis along with new ones. How many CMini dealerships were there in US, anyway? I knew only of one in Texas.

Yes, I really like the silk green. I had a hard choice between the pepper white and silk green though.

Don't know a Stef Walsh, but I used to work with a Jim Walsh back in San Diego.

The Minis were only sold in the US for a few years, I think 68/69? So it's possible that Checkered Flag is the only one that sold both, but you never know...
